A massive, heartfelt thank you to Dr. Jaca for sponsoring this event and stepping in to save the day—we couldn't have done it without you!
We also celebrated our exiting MLLs last Thursday with a well-deserved library pizza party to honor all of their hard work. 🍕✨
Have a wonderful summer, and we'll see you in the Fall! ☀️

What better way to wrap up the school year than reading outdoors all together? Our amazing Truman 3rd and 5th-grade students had the absolute best time soaking up the sunshine, diving into great books, and enjoying some delicious popsicles alongside their teachers, Ms. Brown, Ms. Gomez, Ms. Nai, and Ms. Pasan!
It was the perfect celebration to cap off a wonderful year of learning and community spirit!

That is the big question our incredible 7th-grade Bilingual students explored as they finalized their end-of-year projects! Inspired by Ms. Taracena’s daughter—who was recently accepted into an astronaut program—the students crafted original stories and brought them to life using creative models and drawings.
Our talented 7th bilingual graders proudly showcased their stellar work to Dr. Jaca and all Bilingual classes during a fantastic, interactive interdisciplinary event!
Way to go to our amazing young scientists and storytellers!

Participation is simple and fun: kids just read whatever they love, track their titles, and rate each book on their reading log. The best part? Bringing a completed log back in September earns them a ticket into a raffle for an awesome Grand Prize Basket!

Thank you so much for all your effort in helping us with this year's Chalk Festival! Thanks to your incredible support, we raised twice as much as last year! Even though we had to adapt to the rain, we still had a wonderful day.
Prizes & Celebrations:
We will be distributing prizes during the morning announcements this Monday. The prize bundles are packed full of fun treats and toys!
Ms. Nabakooza and Ms. Villa are especially proud of the students. They showed amazing teamwork and creativity, making beautiful art despite having to switch up their materials and move to a new location.
Thank you again for making this event such a huge success!

Disney Day: Come to school dressed in your favorite Disney, Marvel, or Star Wars clothing on Tuesday, June 16th!
Grade Wars 2026: Get your game face on for Wednesday, June 17th! During the Specials block, grades will compete in the gym with cooperative games.

From water games and sports to our amazing exotic animal encounter, the energy was off the charts.
A massive thank you to Mrs. Curran for the coordination, and to all our wonderful volunteers for keeping the students fueled with treats. Seeing the kids so happy makes it all worth it!

You don't need to have had perfect attendance for the whole school year to participate. You just need to have perfect attendance for these LAST 13 DAYS to fill your attendance punch card and be automatically entered into your school’s raffle!

Your student will be receiving a summer math packet over the next week or two. This is for summer learning. Please have them complete one or two pages per week to support grade level math content. Students that return the packet when they return to school in August will be entered into a raffle for a gift card. Have a great summer!

💧 Water Bottle: Stay hydrated! (Put their name on it).
🧢 Cap/Hat: To keep the sun out of their eyes.
🧴 Sunscreen: Please apply before school and send extra for reapplying.
👕 Change of Clothes: Just in case they get wet or muddy during the activities.
Let's make it an unforgettable day, Tigers! 🐯✨

Congratulate her if you see her!

Our gym was alive with rhythm and song as our multi-talented scholars took the stage. Our students showed off their hard work with different instruments from traditional recorders to high-energy bucket drumming
Our "Cool Audience" of students loved every second of the show 4.jpg, and we owe a massive Thank You to Mr. D for orchestrating such an incredible concert.
Shoutout to our amazing parent community and our school mascot who made up the absolute best audience.

Everyone from 3rd to 6th grade did a fabulous job running hard, supporting each other, and showing true Tiger pride. We are so incredibly proud of our entire team!
